Dr. Abayomi Ajayi, Managing Director/CEO of Nordica Fertility Center, said that a new method of removing fibroids, high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), can solve all the problems women encounter during fibroids surgery.

The famous fertility expert Ajayi said in Abuja yesterday that he also commemorated the 9th anniversary of the establishment of the Abuja Clinic.

Recall that the Nordica Facility Center recently launched the first high-intensity focused ultrasound fibroids care center of its kind in Lagos State to treat fibroids and increase fertility in Nigerian and West African women.

HIFU treatment is the world's first and only transcervical fibroids ablation system combined with the first ever intrauterine ultrasound-guided transcervical fibroids. Ajayi describes it as an option for people who want children.

He said: "One thing we are also very happy about is this new HIFU thing we have now. This is one of the things I hope you take away from here, even though it is not in Abuja now, the machine is the third in Africa. , The only one in West Africa.

"But this machine is a bit expensive, but we look forward to having one in Abuja one day. But what makes me so happy is that it eliminates all the problems women face when undergoing fibroids surgery.

"You know, people will die from excessive blood loss, but in the case of HIFU, you will not lose blood.
